We started the day out early and took the tube to Buckingham Palace to watch the changing of the guard. We got there pretty early, good thing too because within a half hour the area was crawling with people. Luckily we got a spot on the fence so we had a good view.
After the guard finished, we took the tube to Tower Bridge. There we got some good photos, took the tour up and around to see the view from the top. After that we walked along the river all the way back up to the area around Parliament, Big Ben and the London Eye. It was a hike, but we saw a lot of cool stuff along the way. My favorite was watching the kids play with the bubbles. When we made it to the London Eye, we bought our tickets to ride and afterwards walked around by Parliament, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey.
